JIM FERN

US artist Jim Fern began his career at age 17, as an assistant to comic legend Mike Roy. He then moved to Marvel Comics where he received his first inking job in 1983 on an issue of their Moon Knight title. Since then, Jim has worked on most of the major titles for Marvel and DC including Superman, Spiderman, X-Men, Batman and Swamp Thing. Jim is also credited, along with Chris Claremont, with creating the original design of The X-Men's Jubilee. Jim has also worked with The Walt Disney Company at their Disney Design Group at Walt Disney World.

More recently Jim has worked on Aftermath for Devil's Due publishing, and Green Lantern for DC using the pen name of James Bosch. (Jim is a direct descendant of 15th century Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch.)
