COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The Oxford NCT Committee is made up of a small group of volunteers. We meet roughly every 4-6 weeks, either in central Oxford or members' homes. All NCT members are welcome to come along, hear what we do and get involved. For further information, contact .TALKS
From time to time, Oxford NCT holds talks in conjuction with external providers on a range of topics. We always welcome suggestions for future talks; please contact secretary@oxfordnct.
Maternity Employment Rights
Pregnant? On maternity leave? Returning to work? Know your employment rights. The Oxford branch of the NCT, in conjunction with Darbys Solicitors LLP, will hold a third talk on employment issues for women during and after pregnancy in the Spring 2011. The discussion-led talk will include details on statutory antenatal rights (both private & public sector), maternity pay, holidays, bonuses, childcare vouchers, sexual discrimation, new rules on maternity leave and accrued benefits, keeping-in-touch days, and tips on securing flexible working hours. COFFEE GROUPS
The NCT runs several coffee groups around Oxford. Often held in people’s homes, these offer a chance to meet other new mothers/fathers and swap tips in a relaxed setting:
