CALHAB CONVENTION!

The third Moniaive Comics Festival takes place in Dumfries and Galloway in the first week of September, with plenty of opportunities to meet 2000 AD creator droids and take part in various competitions, quizzes and panels. Between Tuesday 2nd and Sunday 7th September, the Galleries of Justice Exhibition - celebrating twenty-six years of Judge Dredd - can be viewed in Moniaive's Masonic Hall. Then, over the weekend of the 6th and 7th, the Festival kicks in, with writers and artists such as Alan Grant, Gordon Rennie, David Bishop, Frank Quitely, Jon Haward and Gary Erskine in attendance and available for signings and free sketches.
